Worlds Collide – an improvised musical

Where Improv and Music Collide, Magic Unfolds!

Worlds Collide
Worlds Collide is a long-form musical improv team that explores what happens when two different worlds meet. Using audience inspiration, live music, and fully improvised storytelling, we take two groups, styles, or communities and watch the sparks fly when they collide. Every show is created in the moment: full of comedy, heart, surprises, and songs you’ll never hear again.
Featuring: Eric Albertson, Shawn Amaro, Catherine Dietrich, Ervin Dupuis, Matthew Green, Goose, Christine Welsh-Buck, William Yap

Musical Director: Grant Ewing

This show will feature a special opening act!

The Five Deadly Improvisers
The Five Deadly Improvisers bring a fully improvised kung fu film to life. From the classic films of the Shaw Brothers, to the exciting new films coming out of Hong Kong today, our show is a serious evocation of the genre and not a parody. None of the fighting is choreographed and nothing is planned. Once a title from the audience is taken, the fighting begins! Our show is very physical, and dynamic environments bring the show to life. We endeavor to honor the genre, which doesn’t always lead to funny situations. Instead our shows can have a tone that’s much more dramatic.
Featuring: Alice Wu, Basel Al-Naffouri, Derek Yee
