Class Description:

Made Up Theatre is excited to now offer teen classes!  If your child is aged 12-17, they can enroll in our upcoming session, where they will learn important concepts of improvisational comedy, including making quick & confident choices, saying yes to ideas, and actively supporting the ensemble.  Plus, they will learn fun improv games similar to what you would see on TV’s Whose Line Is It, Anyway? and will showcase them in a final student performance!  This is a great class for new students and those returning from our Teen Summer Camps!

*The student performance is on the final date of the session at approximately 2:00pm. All students are invited to participate in the performance.

Teen Class Instructor:

Shawn Reimer
Shawn has been performing and studying improv since 2018. You can see him perform in the Bay Area as part of the game-based long-form group Sass Factory and at festivals throughout the country as part of the duo Door Mats. He has trained with Made Up Theater, Leela, ComedySportz, Upright Citizen’s Brigade, and SAK Comedy Lab. He is also a proficient Actor, Voice Artist, and Standup Comedian—as well as a budding Dungeon Master. Shawn also was one of the co-teachers of the 2025 and 2026 Teen Summer Camps, and he’s excited to continue teaching the youth the power of improvisation!
